Cardi B and Offset had a public feud last week when the former Migos member accused Cardi of cheating. Now, a source tells PEOPLE that the two will be able to get over this rough patch.
“They’re just having a little quarrel,” the insider told the publication. “They’re very intense, so [they] go back and forth quite a bit. They’ll hash it out like they always do.”
Last week, according to Page Six, Offset posted and then deleted the following claim, “My wife f—– a n—- on me gang yall n—- know how I come.”
Cardi hopped on Twitter Spaces where she began singing Keyshia Cole’s “I Should Have Cheated,” and began, “Don’t pay attention to the country man, y’all. I’m f—– Cardi B. If I was giving this p—- to anybody, it would be out. I’m just not anybody,” she said. I can’t [be] f—– no regular degular shmegular because they gon tell the world. I can’t f— nobody in the industry cause they gon tell too. So please boy, stop acting stupid. Don’t play with me.”

This is not the first time alleged cheating has publicly come into play in their relationship. In January of 2018, a video surfaced of Offset in bed with another woman. Cardi received backlash on how she chose to handle the incident.
“No, it’s not right for a [n—-] to cheat…But what you want me to do?” she wrote in a since-deleted tweet per PEOPLE. “Go f— me another n—-? Start all over again and get cheated on again? This s— happens to everyone and I be too, you too…People handle they relationship different soo.”
“I’m going to make a decision in my own times with my heart and mind,” she continued according to multiple outlets. “I don’t need to be rushed or be told what to do. Its my life! I belong to me not to the world.”
Back in March of 2018, Cardi reiterated her stance on Offset’s alleged infidelity in an interview with Cosmopolitan. “I know I look good, I know I’m rich, I know I’m talented,” she began. “I know I could get any man I want — any basketball player, football player. “But I want to work out my s— with my man, and I don’t got to explain why.”
