Michigan Schools to Offer Free Meals
I was super excited to see this over the weekend as a parent and I know other parents are too. Michigan is slated to become only one of five states to offer free breakfast and lunch for all their students. Local school districts have been struggling to pay off unpaid lunch debts and the state’s trying to take over and make sure that that all of these local districts aren’t saddled with those expenses. The bill proposal has passed the state Senate and Governor Whitmer is expected to sign it within the next few weeks. That’s just awesome. I’m looking forward to that for the upcoming school year.
Rick Ross Pool Party
Rick Ross is effortlessly funny. I get so much joy reporting on him. You know that he recently had a car show at his house, right? Well now he hosted a pool party over the holiday weekend and, as expected, he provided some laughs. First off, if you’ll remember, he had that parachuter that came onto his property during the car show. Well, it happened again at the pool party. This time Rick got video of it and hilariously narrated the incident. Oh, my goodness. It sure did. He’s hilarious. You have to watch the videos below.

Then he tried to dive into the pool and, of course, it went sideways. He posted another video where he explained, “I’m getting all the DMs this morning. ‘Rose, I saw you do your dive. Are you okay?’ Well, I’m gonna be honest. Am I okay? Of course not. I blew my tire. I blew my tire. I got on the stage, I was feeling the energy, all the support from all the baddies, the biggest pool in the country, and I gave everybody my word. I would do the Double-Decker-Slapper. I said that on my story earlier this week. The Double-Decker-Slapper. What is that? Who knows? I’ve never heard of it. I made it up. I did a double bounce and, boy, my knee caught a flat.”

Congratulations are in order. Rihanna has officially become the first female artist to have 10 songs reach a billion streams on Spotify. She posted on her IG and said, “Bad girl Billy, with no new album. I know. Let me talk my ish.” So, you know, this is probably only going to give her more fuel to not give us new music. Like Mean Jean said, she’s a billionaire. People are still streaming the heck out of her old songs. Why does she need to make new ones?
