Aaron Rodgers and the New York Jets Set for HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks’
Remember when the Detroit Lions were featured on HBO’s “Hard Knocks” just last season? That was a huge opportunity for the team. America pretty much fell in love with Dan Campbell, Jared Goff and the crew. I think it helped the Lions last season that so many people across the country were rooting for the time to finally get a winning season. Well, now it’s Aaron Rodgers’ turn. It’s going to be a New York Jets, “Hard Knocks” season, as the team will appear on the HBO, NFL-based show, as reported by NFL and NFL Films have selected the New York Jets to serve as this year’s team on Hard Knocks, per sources.

New York Jets, ‘Hard Knocks’:
This isn’t a surprise. It’s been rumored for a while that the Jets would be the team spotlighted this year. The show gives a behind-the-scenes look at training camp and the road to the NFL. People are obviously interested in Rodgers and curious to see what he’s like when “nobody is looking.”
It should be very interesting to watch the Jets and head coach Robert Saleh on the show. Of course, New York traded for QB Aaron Rodgers in the offseason. People expected the Jets to be a real contender with Rodgers in the fold. But, he lost to the Lions twice last season with Green Bay. We’ll have to see if he can deliver in New York.
