Keke Palmer’s Boyfriend Admits Holding Her To ‘Perfect Standard’
Keke Palmer’s boyfriend, Darius Jackson, came under fire last week for his comments about how the actress was dressed during an Usher concert. Prior to his remarks made on social media, Jackson was the latest guest on Keke’s podcast Baby, This is Keke Palmer.
When the two decided to go public with their romance, Jackson admitted that the pressure was “overwhelming” and “intense” and Keke agreed.
“And it’s like, you almost feel that pressure of needing to be perfect,” Jackson said. “And so, it really confused me and infiltrated my mind because not only did I have to hold myself to that perfect standard, I was also holding you to a perfect standard as well.”
He added, “So, any moment of flaw on my side or on your side it was World War III because it’s like…” “— And now the world sees us,” Keke responded.
“Exactly,” Jackson said.

Jackson became a trending topic on Twitter last week after he commented on a video of Keke dancing and singing with Usher at his Vegas concert. The Nope actress wore a black bodysuit under a long-sleeve sheer dress. Jackson commented on the video, “It’s the outfit tho.. you a mom.”

When Jackson returned back to social media, fans noticed that he had deleted photos of Keke from his Instagram.
Jackson and Keke have not commented on their relationship status at this time.

She performed “Last Time I Saw You” at the 2023 VMAs where she was the host for the second year in a row.

Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion are at it again with “Bongos.” The colorful music video came just right at the end of summer, where the two rappers are seen twerking on the beach while they take turn spitting playful bars. Lola Brooke enlisted Bryson Tiller for “You.” Lola Brooke, who hails from Brooklyn, sampled another Brooklyn emcee Foxy Brown. Lola used “Get Me Home” by Brown and R&B group Blackstreet. The track appeared on Brown’s 1996 debut album Ill Na Na. This also marks the first time Lola has worked with Bryson.
