Murals Commissioned to Beautify Detroit

The city has announced 15 new locations across Detroit for new murals. I previously told you about how they were soliciting artists to do those. Well, 12 artists have been selected to create those murals out of some 200 submissions. These murals are intended to enhance locations at Dexter Avenue, Gratiot and 7 Mile and the Joe Louis Greenway. They say the murals brighten up neighborhoods, take away some of the blight and create a sense of ownership. So, I can't wait to see those go up because there's so many murals around the city of Detroit. We're one of the leading cities in the country that have this. So, that's pretty cool.

Quavo Onboard Yacht That Was Held-Up at Gunpoint

Well, apparently Quavo was on a yacht the other night when it turned into Pirates of the Caribbean! Earlier in the day, the captain took out another group of people and when they returned, they demanded their money back. The captain said "no", so they came back and they held- up the captain at gunpoint and Quavo just happened to be on the boat at the time. Pictures that have surfaced, showed him in zip-tie handcuffs. So, I don't know if they were just trying to figure out what was going on in the situation, because that part does seems off. They didn't expand on whether somebody actually got arrested or not. Burglars Attempt to Rob Wiz Khalifa's Home While He Was in Detroit

Speaking of robberies, apparently while Wiz Khalifa was here in Detroit on Sunday performing with Snoop at Pine Knob, someone tried to rob his house in Pittsburgh. He said three people entered with ski masks on. I'm assuming they weren't busted. But it sucks for him because his Los Angeles house was also robbed back in 2018. Unfortunately, that's not uncommon. When these artists are traveling and on tour, you better have stuff with security at your house. Because it can be open season otherwise!
