The Detroit Federation of Teachers and the Detroit Public Schools Community District have reached a tentative agreement for the 2023-2024 school year. Details will be forthcoming after a special informative meeting scheduled for today.
Detroit Teachers & Schools Reach Agreement
The Detroit School system is so huge, like 47,000 students. So this is big news because it affects so many households. The Detroit Federation of Teachers has reached a tentative agreement for this school year with Detroit Public Schools. They’ve agreed to keep the terms confidential for now, but there will be an informational meeting tonight at 5:00 PM to deliver the agreement to all 4300 members. The teachers are expected to return today while students first day is next Monday. It’s great that an agreement has been reached because that’s a challenge for the schools and for parents if the teachers aren’t on the job.
Drake’s been getting things thrown at him onstage a lot lately. But he wasn’t expecting to see a book fly towards his head in San Francisco.
Drake’s Own Poetry Book Gets Thrown At Him Onstage
Well, you know Drake has been on tour and he’s been asking for and getting giant bras thrown at him on stage. But he was not expecting someone at his show in San Francisco to throw the book at him. Literally. A fan threw a book at Drake which he snagged out of mid-air before saying that they would’ve gotten their butts kicked if he wasn’t quick! I turns out the book the fan threw was Drake’s own poetry book. By the way, by the time this tour is over, Drake could rake in over $200-million. It’s been a huge success, to say the least. I think they said the show at Barclays Center in Brooklyn took in $18-million in revenue alone. In one final bit of Drake news, they’re hinting that his new album is supposed to be released this Friday. Or at least his new single. NSYNC Reunion Rumors For New Trolls Movie
I know some ladies, including some of my friends, who are going to lose their mind when they hear this. For the first time in over 20 years, NSYNC, including Justin Timberlake, might be back together with new music for the next Trolls movie. It’s called Trolls 3: Band Together, and supposedly the band are also going to have secret roles in the film itself. I guess the trailer even hints to it. So, it’ll be interesting to see which one of them plays each character. The movie is supposed to be released on November 17th. And, if they really did do the soundtrack for this? Yeah.
