Detroit rock band Eva Under Fire is, well, on fire. The band has a hot new single out, "Unstoppable," and they've been heavy on the touring circuit. Now, the band is working on a biopic on mental health.

Eva Under Fire will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their debut full-length album, "LOVE, DRUGS & MISERY," by releasing a deluxe edition, dropping Sept. 22 via Better Noise Music. The original album offered songs with high-profile talent, such as Spencer Charnas of Ice Nine Kills, Jonathan Dörr (formerly of Ego Kill Talent) and From Ashes to New. Now, the album will go deluxe with 10 bonus tracks, including a cover of Black Sabbath's "War Pigs". The deluxe set will also feature two acoustic tracks; four Noise Machine-remixed tracks; two reimagined tracks featuring country rocker Cory Marks; and more.

Biopic on Mental Health

As for the biopic, Eva is putting together a biographical film about her life. In addition to music, she's a licensed therapist and focuses on addictions. The film will delve into her love for music, as well as growing up and dealing with her father, who had some addiction problems. The biopic will be called "My Rockstar," and the band just started filming it. You can check out a synopsis and more information on the film via a YouTube clip below.

Regading the single "Unstoppable," Eva said in a statement, "I'm a hopeless romantic so I wrote 'Unstoppable' about my parents' high school love story. My dad used to steal his sister's corvette while she was at work and pick my mom up for joy rides."

Eva Under Fire are from the Detroit area. Speaking of local music, if you know of a local band that would love to be on WRIF, we have a local show called Motor City Riffs every Sunday night at 9 p.m. It features bands and musicians out of the greater Detroit area, as well as throughout Michigan.
