Steve Harvey’s Co-Host Says He’s Scared Of Wife, Issues Apology
Steve Harvey’s cohost Shirley Strawberry made shocking claims that the television and radio host is scared of his wife, Marjorie Harvey. A leaked jail call with Strawberry’s husband revealed what she thinks of Harvey’s relationship with his wife.
“If she was there we probably wouldn’t have been all over the house…you know he’s scared…I knew I wasn’t supposed to be in there but he brought us in,” Strawberry allegedly said in the leaked phone call per HotNewHipHop.
“He was happy to see us,” she allegedly recalled of her visit to his home. “He always invites us over there and we don’t never go…because I don’t know, if she’s there…you know. She’s, um….nope….she looks at as as ‘the help’ you know…it is what it is.”
Once the audio was leaked and circulated all around social media, Strawberry apologized to Steve and Marjorie for the phone call.
Shirley Strawberry Apologizes
“You heard me say that you got winded going up the stairs in your home and that Marjorie looks at us as the help,” Strawberry said. “Right here and now I want to apologize to Marjorie for what I said… It was definitely not me trying to add to what you have going on right now,” she continued, referring to the recent cheating allegations. “I apologize, I make no excuses. I said what I said and there’s no denying it or taking it back.”
The couple made headlines last month when rumors suggested that Marjorie cheated on Steve. The Family Feud host addressed those claims on X (formerly known as Twitter).
“Before I get started, just let me say, I’m fine. Marjorie’s fine,” Harvey told the audience on Sunday’s Invest Fest 2023 in Atlanta in a now-viral TikTok.
“I don’t know what y’all doing, but find something else to do ’cause we fine. Lord have mercy,” Harvey expressed, later adding, “I ain’t got no time for rumors and gossip. God’s been good to me, I’m still shining,” he added.
