Ghost Tour Company Expands Haunting Tours to 2 Michigan Cities
Ghost tours have long held a unique appeal, drawing people from various corners of the world. These tours offer a blend of history, folklore, and the prospect of eerie encounters with the supernatural. Now, a new ghost tour is coming to two cities in Michigan, adding more intrigue to urban exploration.
US Ghost Adventures is a company known for its ghost tours, haunted pub crawls, and overnight stays in historic and allegedly haunted properties. For instance, the Lizzie Borden House and Villisca Axe Murder House. The company recently announced that it’s expanding its operations. It will now include tours in 15 additional cities. This brings the total number of cities where US Ghost Adventures operates to 80. These new tours are available in various states, including Alabama, California, Florida, Indiana, Michigan, Missouri, New Mexico, Ohio, South Dakota, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.

The newest Michigan locations include Motor City Ghosts in Detroit and Grand Rapids Ghosts in Grand Rapids.
Motor City Ghosts, per their website, promises to go beyond the headlines. They offer insights into historically significant events such as Houdini’s death, the Great Fire of 1805, and the locations associated with notorious serial killers. These include Benjamin Atkins, Shelly Andre Brooks, Donald Murphy, and the infamous Oakland County Child Killer.
Meanwhile, Grand Rapids Ghosts Tours provides an in-depth exploration of Heritage Hill. A location featured on an episode of A Haunting, as well as visits to several other reportedly haunted sites. This includes the Peck Building. It’s known for the tragic murder of John and Hannah Peck, perpetrated by their son-in-law, Arthur Waite.
