Megan Thee Stallion Teases New Era With ‘Act One’ Social Media Post
Megan Thee Stallion is back and announced her official return to music on Instagram Thursday (Oct. 12). The Houston Hottie posted three photos in a row on her Instagram that when you click on her page it reads “Act One.” Each photo has a caption with a carousel of photos that look to be snippets from an upcoming music video. The first photo has a caption of “Let’s [snake emoji],” the second photo reads “Begin [snake emoji],” and the third photo just includes a snake emoji. The photos and video snippets include Megan holding a snake, some closeups of her jewelry, and her with some snake teeth.
Megan is a huge fan of Halloween and every October 1, she has posted photos of herself with an enlarged pumpkin head. The snippets from a potential music video or project teter to the spooky side, so it would not be a surprise that she will be coming out with a project sometime this month. It wouldn’t be the first time either that she has leaned into her personal fascination with Halloween. Back in 2021, she released her project Something For Thee Hotties which featured songs such as “Megan’s Piano,” “Thot S—,” “Eat It,” and more.
What To Expect Next From Megan
So far this year, we have not gotten a solo release from Megan. The only song she has participated in is Cardi B’s “Bongos” which dropped last month.
Earlier this year, she told fans they can expect new music when she is in a “better place.” She was referencing the PTSD she experienced due to her legal conflict with Tory Lanez. “The music and entertainment industry can be a grind. So, it’s important to take time off and avoid burning out,” she told InStyle at the time. “Life is all about balance.”
In a recent interview with Complex, Megan said that she is currently in an “amazing headspace.” She said this new project will represent a “new chapter ” in her life, and she can’t wait for the “Hotties” to listen to it.
