Diddy Reportedly Banned From Wearing Joker Costume
Diddy had to find a new costume this year after his Joker impression was just too good. If you remember, last year, the Bad Boy Records founder was the villain from Batman and walked through the streets mimicking the Joker’s mannerisms. While social media got a kick out of Diddy’s costume and acting ability, Warner Brothers who owns the trademark to the character was not too happy about it.
“Last year I was the Joker, and I actually got a letter from the studio that I can no longer be the Joker because they said it broke their trademark that I did it too good, I swear,” Diddy explained on Jimmy Kimmel Live. I have this letter from Warner Brothers.”

This year however, Diddy opted to be Batman where he had the Batmobile and all on full display.
Diddy’s Recent Music
Last month, Diddy released his fifth studio album, The Love Album: Off the Grid. The LP featured guest appearances from Justin Bieber, Mary J. Blige, The Weeknd, Kehlani, Ty Dolla $ign, Jazmine Sullivan, Teyana Taylor, Summer Walker, Jozzy, 21 Savage, H.E.R., and more.
Prior to the release of the album, Diddy dropped a trailer where some of the aforementioned musicians made cameos.
“We in the love era, that’s the frequency that I’m asking y’all to be a part of,” Diddy says in the trailer. “I had to go off the grid in order to really lock in ’cause I was so addicted to my phone, so addicted to the work, so addicted to the bulls—.”
The album is now being turned into a short film starring Diddy and model Eva Apio. Apio is convincing Diddy’s character to love again but both make it clear to not fall in love with one another. The two dance around the desert, get involved in a high-speed car chase, and more in the film.
“Working with Eva Apio was an incredible experience. Her talent and energy brought my vision to life,” Diddy said in a press release per Billboard.
The Off The Grid film has not announced a release date but will hit theaters soon. Watch the trailer below.
