Megan Thee Stallion Seemingly Calls Out Ex Pardison Fontaine In New Song ‘Cobra’
Megan Thee Stallion is back. The Houston native dropped her first solo single of the year, “Cobra,” on Friday (Nov. 3). While fans are excited to have a solo offering from Megan in what has felt like forever, the Hotties also got some answers as to why it seemed as though her relationship with Pardison Fontaine upruptly ended.
On “Cobra,” Megan seemingly calls out Pardi for getting caught with another woman in her own bed.
“Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, gettin’ his d— sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’/ Lord, give me a break, I don’t know how much more of this s— I can take,” she raps.
Fans presumed the line was about the songwriter as he turned his comments off on Instagram following the song’s release.
Pardi and Megan dated for about two years. Back in February, when the former couple seemed to be keeping a low profile on Instagram because of Tory Lanez’s conviction, fans noticed that Megan unfollowed Pardi, which seemed out of the blue. Days later, however, Megan was celebrating her 28th birthday, and Pardi was in attendance, which confused fans even more.

During that time, Pardi and Megan were “couple goals” as he penned a beautiful poem that supported her while she was being scrutinized in public for the Tory Lanez shooting.
“To any woman especially ones of color that has suffered an injustice I feel for you,” he penned to social media per HotNewHipHop. “When you do find the courage to speak up.. it seems you will be ridiculed. Your credibility will [be] questioned.. your entire past will be held under a magnifying glass. In an instant you can go from victim to defendant in the eyes of the public.”
This is not the first time the couple has sparked breakup rumors. Back in January 2022, Megan deleted all photos of her and Pardi, except for one. She also did not include him in her 2021 recap video which she shared on her social media. However, shortly after that, the two reappeared together as if nothing happened. They never addressed the rumored split.
Back in May, Megan was rumored to be dating Belgian soccer star Romelu Lukaku.
