Ty Dolla $ign Gives Update On Joint Kanye Album

Ty Dolla $ign has an update regarding his joint album with Kanye West. Earlier this month, their multi-stadium listening party was axed at the last minute, as well as fans’ hopes for an album release. However, in a new video circulating on ocial media, the R&B crooner gave an update on the duo’s musical plans.

“I just landed on a flight from Saudi Arabia,” Ty Dolla $ign says. “I’ve been out there recording a part of my album with my brother Ye. And that’s coming real soon.”

Last month, the “Scared Of The Dark” singer took to Instagram to announce the listening party. He wrote the yen “Y” symbol with a dollar-sign symbol and the words reading “multi stadium listening event November 3rd.”

Technically, the duo never announced that the album would be released on Nov. 3. Fans assumed that the project would drop that day as they were anticipating that a public listening party would have occurred. The reason behind the alleged pushback and the cancellation of the listening party has not been announced.

Ty Dolla $ign & Kanye West Plan Italy Concert

It was previously reported that the two were planning a concert in Italy, according to ReggiOnline, an Italian newspaper. The newspaper reported that Ye requested for a stage to be built at the RCF Arena. The concert was initially planned to take place on Oct. 13.

“In the event the authorizations aren’t forthcoming, the date of the following Friday (which would be October 20) is also on the table. Additionally, there is speculation that the preparations are merely for an end-of-summer concert, and the rumors of who could be performing still hang in the air, especially in the absence of official confirmation from West’s camp or other camps,” the site reports via translation from Italian.

An official release date for a listening party and album has not yet been released.
