Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams: How to Watch, Odds & More
It’s on. The L.A. Rams are coming to Detroit to take on the Lions at Ford Field on Sunday (Jan. 14). Sure, it will also mark Matthew Stafford’s return to Ford Field, but I really don’t want the Stafford narrative to overshadow how hard this Lions team has worked to get here. Here’s how to watch the Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams game and all the other Wild Card playoff games.
You’ll find the full schedule of Wild Card games below. As for the Detroit Lions vs. Los Angeles Rams, we’ll be playing on Sunday night at 8:15 p.m. So, yes, we’ll really be in the spotlight. The Lions are favorites to beat the Rams, according to the BetMGM NFL odds. But, it’s only by 3.5 points, so basically because of the home field advantage. As of Sunday evening, the spread is Lions (-3.5); money line Lions (-185) and Rams (+150); and over/under: 51.5. Thank goodness the Lions game isn’t exclusively on Peacock. It would be rough for Lions fans out of the area to have to scramble to a sports bar to watch it. We’ve waited too long for this moment to have it be inconvenient to watch.
Check out the full NFL 2024 playoff schedule below, including all of the Wild Card games. If we can just get past the Rams, I think we’ll have the chance to get a rematch against the Cowboys. Even if it’s Green Bay, I’ll take it. Give me your thoughts here.

The Detroit Lions currently have the eighth-ranked odds in the league to win the Super Bowl at +2200. That’s around a 5% chance. Their odds of making the playoffs are -10000. Not bad, but I think we deserve a bit higher.

Lineups.com says last weekend’s Cowboys game, albeit frustrating, shows that the Lions could make it to the Super Bowl. “The Lions performance against the Dallas Cowboys last Saturday on primetime was eye opening for all the right reasons,” they state.
They add, “Even in a loss, that type of performance was much needed to give Lions backers assurance that they can compete with them in a potential rematch in the playoffs.”

Next challenge
Jared Goff and company’s next challenge is the Lions vs. Vikings game this Sunday (Jan. 7) at 1 p.m. EST. This game isn’t super important to the Lions, as they’ll probably end up a No. 3 seed regardless. What will be interesting is to see who clinches the No. 6 seed and goes up against the Lions in the wildcard round.
