Tory Lanez Speaks To Fans Amid Legal Trouble
The last time Lanez addressed his fans was in September with an Instagram post after his court appearance.
“Ayo Umbrellas, what’s good? I’m talking to you live from prison right now,” he said. “Man. I’m just happy to get out of that county jail. They were hating on a young fly, you heard? Had me on 24-hour lockdown. I half-sized cell by myself. No windows, no mirrors. Ain’t even seen himself in a whole year, yo.”
He continued, “But with all those disadvantages against me, my head has always been held high, man. And I want y’all to know that I’m in great spirits.”
A month prior, he spoke to fans in August when he stood on his belief that he did not commit the shooting and that he does not belong in prison.
“In no way shape or form was I apologizing for the charges I’m being wrongfully convicted of,” Lanez wrote on Instagram at the time. “I remain on the stance that I refuse to apologize for something that I did not do. I’ve faced adversity my whole life, and every time it looked like I would lose, I came out on top. This is nothing but another moment where my back is against the wall, and I refuse to stop fighting till I come out victorious. Tough times don’t last; tough people do. To my family, friends, and umbrellas, thank you for your continued support. See you soon.”
