Michigan Venue Voted the ‘Most Epic’ in the U.S.
We’re coming up on summer concert season. That means there will be plenty of incredible concerts to get on your radar. Many of those concerts will be outdoors. Obviously, summer brings big outdoor festivals with live music and activities. But, some shows will also be in local clubs and venues. What’s extra cool is that one Michigan venue is getting national acclaim. It’s being called one of the “most epic” in America.
America’s Most Epic Music Venues
Thetravel.com has put together a list of the most epic concert clubs and halls in America. They really looked at all sizes, from smaller venues to major ones, such as The Sphere in Las Vegas. “Seeing the band in person, hearing the vocals and instruments live, dancing with hundreds of people, and spending a few hours truly living the moment all add to the magical experience of attending a show,” they state. They add that, “While there are cool concert venues around the world, the US specifically is filled with incredible theaters and concert halls.”
TheTravel.com only picked 16 concert venues to highlight, so getting in this list is extra special. The Michigan venue that made the list is a bit off the radar: EL Club in Detroit. That’s a great venue. But, not one of the big ones, such as Pine Knob, Little Caesars Arena or The Fillmore. Of the El Club, the outlet says, “Not only is it regarded as one of the most famous concert venues in the US for its intimate setting and lively ambiance, but it’s also renowned for its world-class sound system and great sightlines, enabling the club to offer a memorable, immersive live music experience.” What’s also true about the El Club is that it brings in a variety of talent and helps local talent has a place to play, too. The venue is located at 4114 W. Vernor Highway in Detroit.
