MGM Denies That Bruno Mars Owes Them $50-Million
Yesterday I said Bruno Mars, supposedly, allegedly, owes $50-million to MGM Grand for a gambling debt. Well, MGM said it’s not true so I have to take that back.
MGM issued a response to the story, which was was covered by numerous media outlets, saying, ““We’re proud of our relationship with Bruno Mars, one of the world’s most thrilling and dynamic performers. MGM and Bruno’s partnership is longstanding and rooted in mutual respect. Any speculation otherwise is completely false; he has no debt with MGM.”

Boyz II Men Have a Movie & New Music Coming
In a recent interview, Nate Morris from Boyz II Men revealed that there’s an upcoming biopic on the group coming as well as new music.
He told The Sun, “We’re actually in the process of over the next year and a half or two, of finally dialing up what we call a ‘Boyz II Men life story’ in the form of a biopic. People always ask us ‘What happened?’ and ‘Where did you go?’ There’s a lot that people don’t know about the details of our story. I think people who watch the film will be extremely surprised. We’ll probably put new music out in the form of a soundtrack to accompany the film.”
I know that I’m looking forward to both the film and the new music.
Alicia Key & Roc Nation Help Performing Arts School Reach Funding Goal
Alicia Keys and Roc Nation came to the rescue of a seventh grader who is raising money for New York City Schools Performing Arts Program at the Professional Performing Arts School. They donated $60,000 making up the rest of the student’s $102,000 goal.
But they’re not stopping there. They’ve also vowed to help raise money for the program every year until the city is able to fund it themselves.
Actor Jeremy Allen White, who you might know from “The Bear” and “Shameless”, is an alumni of the school and he also made a donation and shared the student’s Go Fund Me link on his Instagram.
Shout out to them for doing that because performing arts means a lot. Especially as the mother of someone who’s creative, like my daughter is. Instead of trying to suppress it, foster it and let people be creative. Not everyone is all about books. You can read more at this link.
