I-94 Detroit Weekend Construction, Benzino Shoots Video at Eminem’s Restaurant, Cardi B Says New Album is “Different”

In today's Shannon's Scoop, I-94 Detroit weekend construction to watch out for, Benzino was in Detroit shooting a video for his Eminem diss track at Mom's Spaghetti, Cardi B tells her fans her new album is not what they might expect!

A stretch of I-94 in Detroit is going to close starting at 8:00 PM tonight for a beam installation at the Cass Avenue bridge over the freeway.

Both eastbound and westbound lanes between M-10 and I-75 are going to be closed and they are expected to reopen to normal traffic on Monday at 5:00 AM.

So if you have plans to go downtown this weekend, you're definitely going to have to find an alternate route.

Yesterday when I was sitting home, I could not believe what came across my phone. Benzino came to the "No Fly Zone". You know I'm talking about Detroit and you know that he has had decades long beef with Eminem. They both released recent disses to each other. Em on "Doomsday Pt. 2" and Benzino with "Rap Elvis".

Not only did Benzino come to Detroit, he went to Mom's Spaghetti to shoot a video. Of course, Eminem owns that restaurant. And he didn't just go there to shoot the video, he took the sign from out front and threw it in their van. And the whole time I am thinking, how is somebody allowing this to happen in the store?

There's one shot with an employee, I don't know if it's the DJ, but it's definitely someone who's behind the counter. And Benzino comes up and has his arm resting on the guy who's just like jamming out with Ben Zino.

I'm like, how does this guy not know what's going on right now? So, I went over to Benzino's Instagram this morning and the guy from the video commented and said, "Hi, I’m the guy in the video. His crew just told him to take a pic with me without asking me. I thought he was a fan so I was like, cool. Even after all this, I still don’t know who this guy is."

I have a feeling that Eminem is going to let him know exactly who Benzino is on his way out the door. We'll have to see how Eminem responds to this. I can't imagine that he's too happy. And I can't imagine that Trick Trick is happy about this either with Benzino coming to the No Fly Zone and acting up like that. Check out some video of Benzino at Mom's Spaghetti below...

Cardi B was on Threads live with her fans the other day and she said that fans would be surprised with what they're about to hear from her. She said that her new music is different. Cardi told them, "I think there's going to be some songs that are like not expected to come from me."

I think the first single that she released still sounds like Cardi B. So, we'll have to see what that's all about when the album does come out. There's still no release date for the new album.

If you plan on using acrylic paint to decorate your Easter eggs, then you’ll need some supplies. If you’re using hard-boiled eggs, boil the eggs first and leave them to cool. For wooden or plastic eggs, be sure to wash them first and leave them to dry overnight.

Some people choose to hollow out the egg for less of a mess. To hollow it out, use a pin or a nail to pop a hole through the top. Then, add a second hole on the bottom making it bigger than the first hole. Grab a bowl and blow through the egg to remove the yolk. Gently clean the egg under tap water, washing it through the hole. Let it dry.

When it's time to paint, a trick I often use is resting your egg on a fresh toilet paper roll. To make your colors stand out, paint your egg white first, or skip this completely by purchasing white eggs. While you can use watercolor paint or any paint for that matter, I’ve found that acrylic paints work well on eggs or acrylic paint markers for more detailed decorating.

Once the egg is painted, you can leave it to dry or use a blow dryer to speed up the drying process.

Another simple but fun egg to decorate could be inspired by Netflix's Wednesday. If you're feeling ambitious you can decorate an Addams Family of eggs. Movies are also an option. You can't go wrong with sports-decorated eggs. Just pick your favorite team and get to painting. You can break it down by favorite teams in different sports, favorite players, or jersey numbers. If you want something simpler, you can stick to designs like footballs, basketballs, baseballs, or other sports equipment. This is perfect for the sports lover in your family.
