Beyoncé Post Cryptic ‘Always Been Country’ Message On IG & Shares ‘Texas Hold ‘Em Remix
Beyoncé’s Parkwood Entertainment posted a cryptic “Always Been Country” message on Instagram Wednesday night (April 3) that got the attention of her fans. The video only shows “Always Been Country” flashing, but fans suspect it could be the name of her tour to accompany Cowboy Carter.
“beyonce we are underpaid and overwhelmed!” one fan wrote in the comment section of the post.
“Beyonce may have 16 carriages but we only got 16 cents please wood of park,” another fan joked referring to the single “16 Carriages.”
“I JUST PAID OFF MY CLUB RENAISSANCE TICKETS PLEASEEEE BEYONCÉ NO LMAO,” another fan wrote referring to the VIP section of Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour last summer.
“this is probably the only time in my like where i’m praying this ain’t got shit to do with a tour,” another fan pleaded with the popstar.
The website linked to the post, which is beencountry.com shows a childhood photo of Beyoncé singing at the Texas Sweetheart Pageant, a childhood photo of her mother, a banjo, an alternate image of her wearing the outfit from the original Cowboy Carter album just now paired with thigh high fuzzy boots, and the words “This ain’t a country album it’s a Beyoncé album” which she notably wrote while sharing the album cover.
The only “confirmation” that a tour is possibly coming is when The-Dream, who co-wrote and produced several songs on the project, shared on X, “So proud! BB Let’s Go This tour bout to B’ Incredible!”
Neither Beyoncé nor Parkwood Entertainment has announced an official tour at this time.
Beyoncé Shares ‘Texas Hold ‘Em’ Remix After Always Been Country Message
Why a tour might be looming in the mind of Beyoncé, she did release a remix of “Texas Hold ‘Em” on Wednesday night (April 3). The official title of the song is “Texas Hold ‘Em (Pony Up Remix),” where the singer adds a new verse and switches up production in the second half of the song. With her last album, Act I of Renaissance, she had several remixes of the lead single, “Break My Soul,” and did a “Wetter Remix” of the second single, “Cuff It.”
The remix comes in almost a full week since Beyoncé dropped her eighth studio album Cowboy Carter. The album has guest appearances from Dolly Parton, Miley Cyrus, Post Malone, Willie Nelson, Shaboozey, Linda Martell, Tanner Adell, Brittney Spencer, Willie Jones, Tiera Kennedy, and Reyna Roberts. Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s youngest daughter, Rumi Carter, is also credited with the album.
