In today’s Shannon’s Scoop, there’s a major construction project coming to the Southfield Freeway, Big Sean gives details on his new book, Chance The Rapper and his wife separate!
Construction Coming to Southfield Freeway
If you travel on the Southfield Freeway between Ford Rd and I-94, there will be some major construction starting this month.
A big-time, $15.5-million construction project is coming to Southfield Freeway. It’s a five-mile stretch between Ford Road and I-94. They say there’s gonna be concrete patching, resurfacing, pavement markings, barrier repairs and more.
They’ll have single lane closures on weekdays, double lane closures for nights and weekends, and ramp closures as needed. It begins April 29th and will last all the way through to the fall.
I guess they need to make it more drivable for all the top speeders on the Southfield. You know who you are. I swear, I’m not talking 80 mph. I’ve seen people that had to be pushing 100 on the Southfield Freeway. It gets wild on there, so that construction is not gonna be a good time for a lot of drivers. Read more at this link.
Big Sean Has a Book On The Way
Big Sean is adding “author” to his resume. He has a self-help book on the way.
Big Sean made a big announcement yesterday and I was excited to hear it.
In an Instagram post he said, “I always been about like speaking from the heart, you know what I’m saying? Following your intuition, man. Checking in with yourself mentally, you know? So, I wrote my first book. It’s called “Go Higher” and it’s a book where I took all the lessons I learned, all the philosophies mixed with real life experiences and condensed what works for me into these like five strategies that really will teach you what success means to you and show you what your purpose is if you don’t already know. And show you how to find inner peace through all the turbulence and ups and downs of life. You know what I’m saying? It drops later this year, October 8th.”

Chance The Rapper’s Marriage Ends
Kirsten Corley and Chance The Rapper have decided to amicably end their marriage.
You hate to see it, but news came out that Chance The Rapper and his wife, Kirsten Corley, are separating after being married for 5-years, but they have been together since like 2013.
They actually met in 2003 when they were both kids. His mom and her mom were friends or worked in the same business or something like that. They do have two children together, but the good news is that it appears to be amicable. Check out this link for more.
