The Detroit Pistons have best odds at #1 pick in the NBA Draft Lottery, after the end of the NBA season. The team did so by securing the worst record in the league at 14-68. The Pistons now have a 14%, of getting the #1 overall pick in this year's NBA Draft. They're tied with the Washington Wizards and the winner of a coin toss between the Portland Trailblazers and Charlotte Hornets.

This season is seen as a huge disappointment for the Pistons, who thought the team was ready to take the next step when they made Monty Williams the highest paid (at the time) coach in NBA history. Many fans were confused by Williams' use of, Jaden Ivey, the #5 overall pick in the 2022 NBA Draft among other things that happened this season.

The Detroit Pistons have best odds at the #1 pick in the draft. The Pistons can't drop lower than five, so they'll be picking in the top ten for the fifth time in five years. The team is hoping to take the next step next season.

When is the NBA Draft Lottery:

The NBA Draft Lottery takes place on Sunday May 12, 2024 at 8pm. The format of the lottery has changed over the years as the league is trying to give teams less incentive to tank. Before the team with the worst record, would have the best odds of the #1 overall pick. The league has flattened the odds, so three teams with the worst records all have the same odds of picking #1.

This year's draft is thought to be one of the worst in quite some time, the Detroit Pistons have best odds at #1 pick in the NBA Draft Lottery, and you'd always prefer to make the decision you want.
