How To Get Rihanna’s Latest Beauty Brand: Fenty Hair
You might as well hang up the dream of Rihanna ever dropping new music. She’s way too busy to be concerned with that. The singer recently picked up another venture through her Fenty brand, a hair care line.
Rihanna took to Instagram to share the news that her beauty empire is expanding into hair care and that it’s coming soon. The posted video features a variety of hair types and textures giving fans a look into the new product line.
“A new family is moving in!” she wrote in the caption. “@fentyhair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for.” She went on to explain that Fenty Hair will focus on repair formulas that work on all hair types.
Like many people — including myself — she mentioned how much she loves switching her hair up. “I’ve had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural — so I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It’s time to play and get stronger by the style,” Rihanna said.
Who’s excited for Rihanna’s Fenty Hair?
Some people questioned Rihanna’s marketing tactics. One person said, “How are you promoting a hairline with a wig on?” But one could argue that she’s promoting hair care with different styles including weaves and wigs. Someone jokingly referred to never getting new music from the artist saying, “This ain’t what we meant by new tracks mama.” So, yes to hair tracks and no to music tracks.
Another person brought Beyoncé into the chat saying, “She let Beyonce have her hair care moment and then said Check mate!”
Beyoncé announced her haircare line Cécred earlier this year. She posted a video showing a projector of old home videos mixed with shots of women and men getting their hair done. In another video, Queen Bey showed off her natural locks using her products.
Interestingly, Rihanna has yet to show herself using Fenty Hair. Some fans are hoping to see it. One person challenged her in the comments by writing, “How are you promoting a hair care brand but wearing a 27 piece? Show yourself using the product.”
