Monica & Brandy Join Ariana Grande on “The Boy is Mine” Remix
Ariana Grande released her version of The Boy is Mine. Now, the powerhouses from the original version are on the remix.
Ariana Grande has been a controversial figure in the LGBTQ+ community ever since her song “Monopoly” came out in 2019. For many it raised the question of whether or not the pop star herself was bisexual, while others criticized her for “queer baiting,” which is when celebrities drop subtle hints at identifying somewhere on the LGBTQ+ spectrum in order to attract that fan base. When asked about the song, whose lyrics say, “I like women and men,” Grande replied on Twitter. “I haven’t [labeled myself] before and still don’t feel the need to now which is okay,” she wrote at the time.

Ariana Grande Announces The Boy Is Mine Remix
Ariana Grande recently made waves by releasing her rendition of the Monica and Brandy classic, 'The Boy is Mine'. She surprised fans with a post this week on social media—Monica and Brandy themselves will be joining her on this remix. This collaboration is set to release on Friday, June 21st. In the social media post Ariana celebrates the influence and inspiration these artists have had on the music industry. She also expressed her gratitude to Monica and Brandy for their generosity and influence, highlighting their lasting impact on music creators today. Here is her version without Monica & Brandy on it as we still have to wait for that version. But notice, you will see them in the video as newscasters which should've been a big hint to us!
Ariana Grande Stuns Fans with Different Voice
So, while I was researching the topic above about "The Boy Is Mine" remix, I came across another interesting article that sparked my curiosity. Ariana Grande was on a recent podcast appearance where her voice is notably differed from her usual baby-sounding tone. Listen to it below. For me, at first I thought she may not be as genuine as she appears to be, but apparently she has explained this helps to preserve her singing voice. Who knows. What do you think about it?
