Ashanti Dishes on How Nelly Proposed

As we know, fans of Ashanti and Nelly have something to celebrate! The couple is expecting a baby any day now, which is just crazy considering Nelly’s busy summer concert schedule with Janet Jackson. I don’t think it’s been revealed whether they are having a boy or a girl yet. I have a feeling it’s going to be a girl. How about you?
In addition to the baby news, Nelly recently proposed to Ashanti in a beautifully intimate moment. Ashanti shared that the proposal was completely unexpected. She was casually dressed in one of Nelly’s T-shirts and boxers while watching TV when he popped the question. It made her extremely emotional & she immediately shared the news with her family. Her family was fortunately in the same city as her at the time. Check out the clip of her explaining below.
Her joy is so evident, and fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of their baby & wedding. But, it’s important to mention that Ashanti and Nelly’s love story is unique, and as much as their reunion might inspire, it shouldn’t be seen as a reason to reconnect with a toxic ex-partner! They are the exception, not the rule.
I am so very happy for the couple. After over a decade, they were able to reconnect and begin to build a beautiful life together. One thing is for certain, he hasn’t stopped smiling since they got back together and I am here for it! how about you?
