As mentioned in today's Shannon's Scoop, Big Sean's album release is still a go despite recent setbacks.

Detroit's own Big Sean has faced numerous challenges since his last album drop during the COVID-19 pandemic. Not only did he contract COVID, but he also became a father and made significant lifestyle changes, such as quitting drinking. Well, due to contracting COVID last week, it set him back. But, Big Sean is still gearing up to release his new album this week.

In an Instagram Live session, he shared his journey and struggles, revealing that he had to halt his work due to COVID-19. However, despite not having everything perfectly aligned, he decided to move forward with the release. He expressed confidence in his current work. However, he also teased a collaboration with Fantasia & another female artist that he has collaborated with in the past that may not make the album. People have assumed this to be Nicki Minaj. Despite this, the album 'Better Me Than You' is set to drop this Friday, August 30th.

Big Sean’s determination and honesty resonate with many in the comment section, and fans are eagerly anticipating the release of his new music. Check out the IG live below.
