Over the weekend, Drake attended Canadian broadcaster Tyrone Edwards' "Nostalgia Party" in Toronto, and he had a few things to say. Grabbing the mic, he spoke about his "real friends" amidst his ongoing feud with Kendrick Lamar. "One thing about Nostalgia—my real friends are definitely in the building," Drake said.

He continued, talking about the nature of friendships: "You’re going to come to a point in life where people you thought were close to you might switch up, fight with you, or even stab you in the back. You’ll realize they weren’t really there for you." It was a reflective moment, suggesting Drake might be feeling a bit left behind by people he once considered friends.
