The 2026 Detroit Auto Show kicks off Jan. 14 and runs through Jan. 25 at Huntington Place. Hundreds of thousands of visitors will descend on downtown Detroit. Ford, GM, Stellantis, Toyota, and other carmakers will display their latest rides alongside tech firms and dealers at this event, which dates back to 1907.
Robin Thicke takes the stage at the Charity Preview. Attendees can check out the Drive Home Rally and the Gallery, plus catch media days where manufacturers unveil new models.
NACTOY will reveal its car, truck, and utility vehicle winners during the show. Three judges decide these awards: Jeff Gilbert from WWJ Newsradio 950, John McElroy from Autoline, and Mark Phelan from the Detroit Free Press. Each works in automotive journalism covering the industry.
Huntington Place welcomes the show back to its traditional spot in the city's core. The venue has housed this event for decades, drawing shoppers and tourists to downtown streets.
