The Montreal Victoire and New York Sirens will clash at Little Caesars Arena on March 28. This neutral-site showdown brings 15 Olympic medalists to Detroit. It's the second stop on this season's PWHL Takeover Tour in the city.

According to WXYZ.com, Team Canada has eight players competing in the matchup. Captain Marie-Philip Poulin leads the group, joined by Laura Stacey, Erin Ambrose, Kati Tabin, Ann-Renée Desbiens, Sarah Fillier, Kristin O'Neill, and Kayla Osborne. All claimed silver medals at the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan, Italy.

Team USA gold medalist Hayley Scamurra will skate for the Victoire. Team Czechia sends two players: Natálie Mlýnková and Kristýna Kaltounková. Team Sweden features Lina Liungblom and Maja Nylén-Perssonn.

Nicole Vallario from bronze medal-winning Team Switzerland and Sandra Arbstreiter from Team Germany complete the international roster. Puck drops at 1 p.m.

Last season, Little Caesars Arena set a U.S. attendance record for a professional women's hockey game. A crowd of 14,228 fans packed the venue. That same contest hit the PWHL's one millionth fan milestone, a historic marker for the young league.

The PWHL began play in 2023 with six founding teams — a modest start that has since grown. The league added Seattle and Vancouver last season, bringing the total to eight franchises.

In January, the Vancouver Goldeneyes beat the Boston Fleet 4-3 in the first Takeover Tour stop in Detroit this season. The city doesn't have a PWHL franchise yet, but it remains a strong candidate to host a future team.

The league hasn't confirmed further expansion past the 2025-26 season. Tickets for the March 28 game remain available through the PWHL website.
