Beyoncé dropped “Break My Soul,” the first single from her upcoming album Renaissance and it is no surprise that the song instantly became a trending topic.

Fans instantly made comparisons to Drake’s latest dance LP Honestly, Nevermind since “Break My Soul” veers into the genre as well.

The track was produced by Beyoncé, The-Dream, and Christopher “Tricky” Stewart. Additionally credited co-writers include Jay-Z, Adam “BlaqNmilD” Pigott, Big Freedia, Allen George, and Fred McFarlane.

“Break My Soul” is the first original song since she released the Oscar-nominated track “Be Alive” last year. Renaissance is out July 29.
