I’ve listed 10 great Metro Detroit restaurants below for you to check out to get your fix!

One Pot Wonders
One pot pasta dishes are a lifesaver on busy weeknights when you don’t have a lot of time to cook. They’re also great for feeding a crowd because they’re usually pretty cheap and easy to make. Our favorite one pot wonder is this recipe for One Pot Creamy Tomato Basil Pasta from The Chunky Chef. It’s packed with flavor but comes together in just 30 minutes, making it the perfect weeknight meal. Plus, who doesn’t love a dish that only dirty one pot?

Classic Comfort Foods
There’s nothing quite like a big bowl of comfort food to hit the spot, and this Slow Cooker Chicken Parmesan Soup from Damn Delicious definitely fits the bill. This soup is hearty and filling but still has that classic chicken parm flavor that we all know and love. And the best part is that it’s made in the slow cooker, so you can set it and forget it while you go about your day. Perfection!

Fun and Festive Dishes
If you’re looking for something a little more fun and festive, this Halloween Spaghetti from Delish is sure to do the trick. This dish is basically spaghetti and meatballs with a Halloween twist, thanks to the addition of green food coloring in the spaghetti water and black olive “eyeballs” on top of the finished product. It’s spooky, fun, and most importantly, delicious! Your little ghosts and goblins will love it.

No matter what your plans are for today, we hope you’ll take some time to celebrate National Pasta Day! Whether you whip up one of our favorite recipes or grab a dish at one of Metro Detroit’s great Italian restaurants below you’ll be glad you did!
