In today’s Shannon’s Scoop: Detroit is getting a massive transportation grant, Bad Boys 4 is on the Way, & Lil Wayne announces his tour.

Detroit Gets Grant from Department of Transportation

Apparently Detroit is at the top of the list for accident fatalities. They are receiving a grant for $24.8 million to improve road safety. It will be used to revamp existing infrastructure, install signals to improve pedestrian safety and more. Most improvements will be in what are considered historically disadvantaged areas of the city.

There was a BIG concert announcement yesterday. Lil Wayne announced his ‘Welcome to The Carter’ Tour. Fans are also freaking out because they assume his “Carter VI” album will also drop soon in conjunction with the tour. The tour kicks off in April with a stop in Detroit at The Fillmore on April 11th. Tickets go on sale Friday!
