As you may recall, Detroit saw protests back in May 2020 after the murder of George Floyd. What started out as peaceful protests then turned violent with protesters charging that police used excessive force. According to the Detroit News the City of Detroit has now offered a $1.3 million settlement for five lawsuits. The Detroit Will Breathe organization would receive most of the funds as they have 14 plaintiffs in their case alone.
Beyonce fans have been anxiously awaiting the arrival of her new album “Renaissance.” Well, the wait will be over come Friday. That is unless you can hop on a flight tomorrow to one of her listening parties abroad! Sony Music Entertainment posted contesting for fans chance to win tickets to several listening parties and unfortunately none have been announced for the United States at the moment.
