June 15th - Ice Cube
O’Shea Jackson Sr. was born on June 15th, 1969 in Los Angeles, California. A real renaissance man, Ice Cube has been a rapper, actor, and filmmaker. His album Straight Outta Compton was one of the main reasons for the popularity of gangsta rap.

June 16th - Tupac/ 2Pac
Tupac Amaru Shakur was born on June 16th. 1971 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Tupac experienced massive success in the shortest of times. His album Me Against the World was an incredibly critical and commercial success. Unfortunately, shortly after signing with Death Row Records was shot and killed in 1996 at the age of 25.
