TikTok is a place where you can find out your favorite artist’s personality. Artists and their teams have been able to leverage social media to their advantage. It gives fans an inside look at who they are as a person outside of their music.
Latto is a perfect example of how she uses social media to her advantage and connects with fans. She often posts silly videos of her and her sister Brooklyn trying new food, participating in TikTok challenges, and previewing new music.
The Atlanta native has had an exciting year thus far as she was nominated for two Grammys. Latto was nominated for Best New Artist and her “Big Energy (Live)” was nominated for Best Melodic Rap Performance at the 2023 Grammy Awards. On top of that, she just won her second BET Award on Sunday for Best Female Hip Hop Artist.
She later hit the stage to perform her latest single “Put It On Da Floor.”

Besides music, Latto has used social media to clear up any beef she’s had with fellow rappers. Back in March, a fan accused Latto of mimicking Ice Spice’s cover to her debut EP Like…?
“Every time y’all accuse me of copying folks ima clear it up. Nun mo nun less.”
