Are you a heights thrill-seeker? I sure do miss the days when I had zero fears of heights! I may not be so cool with heights anymore, but I am always interested in checking out nature from another perspective. So, looks like I'll have to suck it up and face my fears if I want to see another side of Michigan's beauty.

Have you tried zip lining? I have not, but I am willing to set my nervousness aside, get strapped in & feel the breeze to get another perspective of Michigan. There's no better way to do so then taking a zip-lining tour! MLive.com has put out an article about 10 Michigan zipline tours, but I will highlight five of them here.

Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park.

First up, Muskegon Luge Adventure Sports Park in Muskegon. They have a 1400' dual zip line system that will take you over sand dunes, pines, and an oak forest. You can race friends up to 25 mph for a 1/4 mile! They have several other attractions & hiking trails to check out while you are there.

Boyne Mountain

Probably one of the better known places to visit is Boyne Mountain in Boyne City, MI. They'll take you up 50 feet in the air for nearly 800 feet and take you over mountains, trees, and their ski slopes.

Mystery Spot

I've certainly driven past the Mystery Spot in St. Ignace several times while up in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, but I never knew what the mystery was. Well, now I do! See word is certain equipment doesn't register in this area and people have voted it as the most unusual attraction in Michigan. You can see it all from above on one of there two zipline tours. If you purchase the Zipline Complete Package it includes a mystery spot guided tour, 18 Hole miniature golf, a walk in the Maze in the Woods, and both Ziplines. I will definitely have to stop the next time I am there. What an adventure!

Frankenmuth Aerial Park

They combine ropes & zipline to form six courses to choose from and they range from beginner to expert levels.

Tree Runner Adventure Parks

With three locations to choose from in West Bloomfield, Grand Rapids, or Rochester you're guaranteed to have a great adventure!
