Abel’s broken heart is bleeding blue on the streets in his newest music video, which is assumed to be about Selena Gomez.
He’s coughing up birds, and there is some jarring cinematics that might throw off people with severe epilepsy, but the video does have some interesting images.
There has, however, been a comparison that cannot be denied: a meme that recently crossed the internet asks why The Weeknd is allowed to write songs about his exes with no scrutiny, but Taylor Swift gets ostracized for it since it’s sort of the same thing. No matter how you feel about Taylor, it is some food for thought.
