SMS TERMS OF SERVICE (revised and effective November 1, 2013)
The following terms and conditions apply to SMS text messaging promotions including, but not limited to, text-to-win contests, votes or surveys, and text alert clubs sponsored by 105.1 THE BOUNCE , which will send one or more text messages to the phone number you provide at opt-in. The terms and conditions of 105.1 THE BOUNCE ’s official Terms of Use Agreement apply fully to these SMS Terms of Service. (Click here for the Terms of Use Agreement.)
If you have registered in a 105.1 THE BOUNCE Text Club or participated in a text promotion prior to October 16, 2013 and we can document your prior express consent to send you automated marketing text messages to the telephone number you provided, you will remain a valued member of our text clubs or promotions unless you opt-out.
105.1 THE BOUNCE has never conditioned your entry into a Text Club on making a purchase with us. By continuing membership in or subscribing to our Text Clubs or participating in any text promotion, you acknowledge, understand and agree that you are not required to subscribe or agree to subscribe to any 105.1 THE BOUNCE Text Club or participate in a text promotion as a condition to making a purchase from 105.1 THE BOUNCE .
Unless otherwise indicated in an advertisement on 105.1 THE BOUNCE , on our Web Site, or on our mobile applications, we do not require any payment or charge any subscription fee for SMS text messages sent by 105.1 THE BOUNCE . Note that your carrier’s message & data rates may apply. Please check your mobile contract for details.
105.1 THE BOUNCE will offer periodic automated marketing text messages to subscribers who have opted-in to a 105.1 THE BOUNCE Text Club or a text promotion. The frequency of messaging depends on the Text Club/promotion that your phone is subscribed to. Upon subscribing to a Text Club/promotion, you will receive a text message noting how many texts you should expect to receive per week or month. Sometimes a maximum number is given. Sometimes the number of messages depends on the frequency of news for the particular subscription. You understand, acknowledge and agree that you will receive a confirmation text message for each text message, vote, or entry you send to 105.1 THE BOUNCE .
For additional help, text HELP to 51051 in reply to a text message you receive.
To cancel an SMS subscription to our Text Clubs or promotion, text STOP to 51051 in reply to any text message you receive. Note that this will remove you from ALL SMS subscriptions on the short code. You may also text STOP to cancel if you don’t remember which club you subscribed to or which promotion you participated in. By opting out, you acknowledge, understand and agree that you will receive a reply message clarifying or confirming your opt-out request.
105.1 THE BOUNCE is not responsible for incomplete, lost, late, or misdirected messages, including but not limited to undelivered messages resulting from any form of filtering by your mobile carrier or service provider.
You must be 13 years of age or older to use 105.1 THE BOUNCE SMS services.
Supported carriers include: AT&T, Boost, Cricket, Sprint, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless. 105.1 THE BOUNCE ’s text services are available only to residents of the United States.
