Jay-Z’s Company Sued Over Tidal Legal Bills
Jay-Z forgot to a pay a bill related to the purchase of his streaming service, Tidal. According to a new lawsuit Jay-Z hired attorney’s in Sweden to close the deal in 2014.
Jay-Z purchased Aspiro AB, the company that owned Tidal, the Swedish firm says it spent 1,400 hours on the deal and sent S. Carter Enterprises a bill for $629,000. Jay-Z paid half of the bill but according to the lawsuit a payment in the amount of $294,000 was still outstanding.
A financial advisor was also hired to work on the deal and says he is owed $304,000.
