Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Jada’s mother graced the cover of ESSENCE magazine’s March 2019 issue.
The three generations of women are on the cover of ESSENCE’s “Innovation” issue wearing deep red dresses with matching lips.
Jada’s mother, Adrienne Banfield Norris shared her excitement about the cover on her Instagram account. “Aaaaayyyyyyyeeeee!!!! Thank you @Essence and @warwicksaint for making me feel like ‘Queen for a Day’! Y’all youngins don’t remember that show!!#whowouldathought#dreams#coverwithmybeauties#dropthe????#shutthedoor#imdone????????????????????????,” she wrote.
Jada also shared the cover on her Instagram account and stated that it was her mother’s dream to be on the cover. She then thanked the publication and the photographer, Warwick Saint.

The issue hits newsstands on Feb. 22, and also features Chloe x Halle, Rae Sremmurd, and Sonequa Martin-Green.
