Dreezy Opens Up About Dating Jacquees In New Interview
In a new interview, rapper Dreezy opens up about dating R&B singer Jacquees.
In an exclusive interview with Rap-Up, Dreezy shares what their Valentine’s Day was like, how chivalrous Jacquees is, and what to expect on her new upcoming album, which she says might be titled I Felt That.
“He’s more than what y’all see on the internet… every celebrity that you see on these blogs and stuff is a real person in real life,” Dreezy explains. “Cause I used to be looking at him the same way like, ‘Oh that’s Jacquees’…When I met him, I was like “Oh you’re a real person. You got a momma. You got bills. You running a whole business.’ This s*** not easy. I know firsthand because I’m an artist. So to kind of step into his world and his career and see how he handles it. I got nothing but respect for him.”
Dreezy gleefully talked about her surprise Valentine’s Day date with the self-proclaimed “King of R&B”.

“I thought I wasn’t going to have a Valentine, but he booked me a flight…I’m thinking we just gone probably go out to eat…And when I got to the airport, he picked me up from the airport. Came in, grabbed all my bags,” Dreezy shares.
“You know n***** don’t ever want to get out of the car and come in there. He came in there, got my bags…we rode to this nice condo in Houston, and it was like rose petals when I walked in and people greeting me. Taking my coat off. And like walking me to a table and it was all of my favorite food.”
“Right after he got off the stage at the show… He had his guys come in with three Chanel bags,” the Chicago rapper continues.
“One had this big Chanel purse in it. The other one had some Chanel slides in it, you know I got my song ‘Chanel Slides.’ And then the other one had my puppy in it, and that’s when I took it out like ‘Awww,’ and they were like, ‘Name it name it!'”
Dreezy said that her new upcoming album will be a lot more personal and heartfelt.
“I feel like my fanbase miss me talking from the heart. I can flex. I can talk that cash s*** on records,” Dreezy said. “That’s easy. That’s what every other rapper is doing, but one thing that stood out about me is I think I was speaking for women, but the n***** related too.”
Dreezy’s last studio album was her 2016 release, No Hard Feelings, and this January the rapper released her mixtape, Big Dreez, which features Kash Doll, Jeremih, Jacquees, and Offset.
