Monica Drops ‘Commitment’ Video Directed By Teyana Taylor
Monica is behind bars in her new video.
Yesterday (Apr. 15), the veteran songstress dropped the visuals to her single “Commitment.”
The “Spike Tee Joint” was directed by R&B singer Teyana Taylor, who has recently been flexing her directorial muscles.

“ISSA NOTHER SPIKE TEE JOINT AND IS FINALLY HEREEEEEE! Monica’s visual for COMMITMENT is officially out,” Taylor wrote on her directorial Instagram page , yesterday before thanking everyone who helped make the video possible.
Singer, songwriter, and reality TV star Tiny made a cameo in the video. Monica and Tiny both star in VH1’s T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle, which the video premiered after the new season premiere, last night.
In the video, Monica portrays a woman, who just went to prison for shooting a man. During lunch, Monica chats with her friends about what she needs in a relationship before a fight breaks out between Tiny and another prisoner, and she has to try to stop it.
