City Girls Drop ‘Act Up’ Video With Huge Cameo From Lil Yachty
On Thursday, City Girls dropped the visual for their popular single “Act Up,” and Lil Yachty made a huge cameo.
Recently, the City Girls have received some flack and criticism due to the fact that Lil Yachty was a writer on the duo’s hit song “Act Up.” Some rap fans lost respect for the Miami rappers because apparently, they don’t write all of their rhymes.
However, City Girls took it in stride and decided to make light of the situation by putting Lil Yachty in the video and creating a scene where he directs Yung Miami on how to better say her lyrics.

The carefree and fun video unfortunately only features Yung Miami due to JT being incarcerated. When it came time for JT ‘s parts, Yung Miami and others in the video mouthed her lyrics.
On Wednesday, CEO of Quality Control (City Girls’ record label), Pierre “Pee” Thomas went on Instagram Live while on a phone call with JT. During the phone call, Pee informed JT that the music video for “Act Up” was coming out this week, and she didn’t really have a response.
The Miami rapper told him that she is ready to come home, and once he let her know that she was on Instagram Live, she sounded a bit more cheerful.
“Hey y’all wassup. I miss y’all, I know you miss me too, but I’ll be home soon,” JT told her fans over the phone. Watch the video above.
