Dwyane Wade And Irv Gotti Offers Support To Lil Nas X After He Receives Backlash For Coming Out
NBA star Dwyane Wade and record executive Irv Gotti both recently showed Lil Nas X support after the newly famed Lil Nas X received backlash from coming out as gay on the last day of LGBTQ Pride month.
The “Old Town Road” singer took to social media to express his concern regarding receiving homophobic comments. Lil Nas X shared a photo of a sad-faced emoji wearing a cowboy hat, and he wrote “say one more [homophobic] thing to me,” as his caption.
Wade commented on the singer and rapper’s post with support. “Focus on all the good in your life. Don’t allow these fools to get to you. It’s a lot of us out here proud of who and what you represent,” Wade wrote.

TMZ recently asked Irv Gotti if he believes that Lil Nas X and other LGBTQ entertainers will be accepted within the hip-hop community although it has a murky history with homophobia.
Gotti responded with a simple, “Yes.” “If it was like 20, 30 years ago, it would be a shocker… 2019? Just be whoever you are, and we’ll accept you for who you are,” Gotti continued.
