Rapper Mystikal Falls Off Stage During Performance
Apparently, Mystikal was in danger.
The 48-year-old rapper reportedly fell off a stage while performing in Tampa, Florida, last week, reports TMZ.
Mystikal whose given name is Michael Lawrence Tyler graced the stage around 1 a.m. and almost 30 seconds into his performance, the New Orleans native unexpectedly tumbled into the crowd.
Video footage shows security trying to assist the “Danger” rapper back onto the stage, but Mystikal had gotten injured during the fall.
According to a concert goer, a spilled drink prior to his performance that didn’t get cleaned up caused the fall, which led to Mystikal cutting his show short.
A crew helped to carry the rapper off stage. It’s uncertain whether or not he sought medical attention.
In 2018, Mystikal was released from prison on bail. In 2017, he turned himself in to law enforcement when the rapper was issued a warrant for his arrest due to an alleged rape and kidnapping case.
In 2012, the “Shake Ya A**” rapper spent three months in jail for domestic abuse, and in 2003 he reportedly pled guilty to sexual battery and extortion, which resulted in him serving seven years in prison.
