Kelly Rowland Slated For New Role In Lifetime Holiday Film ‘Merry Liddle Christmas’
Kelly Rowland is teaming up with Lifetime again; this time for a role in a forthcoming holiday film titled Merry Liddle Christmas.
The “Ice” singer previously united with Lifetime for their star-studded, made-for-TV film 10th Date.
Rowland will be portraying the role of Jacquie, “a successful single tech entrepreneur who hosts her dysfunctional family in her new home over the holiday,” reports Entertainment Weekly.
According to Lifetime, Jacquie’s character was actually inspired by Rowland’s own Christmas catastrophe that transpired recently.
Rowland alongside her husband, Tim Weatherspoon are both executive producers on the project.
The holiday film is one of 28 original Yuletide-themed movies that the network is planning to debut in 2019 under their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” campaign.
The campaign will run seven days a week from Oct. 25 until Dec. 25. In 2019, Rowland has appeared in A Black Lady Sketch Show, L.A.’s Finest, and American Soul.
