Jacquees Announces ‘King of R&B’ Album Release Date
Singer Jacquees had already caused an uproar on social media and within the music industry when he gave himself the title of the “King of R&B.” Fans were quick to criticize him, stating that he doesn’t have enough original music and that he mainly does covers.
On Monday (Nov. 4), Jacquees took to Instagram to announce that his album titled King of R&B will be released on Friday (Nov. 8).
He shared the cover art for his album and simply wrote, “November 8, 2019,” alongside a crown emoji. King of R&B is the follow up to Jacquees’ debut album 4275, which was released in 2018 via Cash Money/Republic Records/Universal Records.
Prior to his debut album, Jacquees released four EPs and nine mixtapes.
