ADT Home Security Tech Admits To Secretly Watching Couples Have Sex
If you or someone you know lives in Texas and has ADP security, this might be a little disturbing.
Per the New York Post, a former ADT Security Services technician from Texas recently pleaded guilty to hacking home security footage to watch naked women and couples having sex.
They state, “Telesforo Aviles admitted he accessed roughly 200 customer accounts more than 9,600 times without their consent over a four and a half year period. Aviles added his personal email address to customers’ ‘ADT Pulse’ accounts, which gave him real-time access to the video feeds from their homes.”
But wait…there’s more.
Aviles would add himself to customer accounts right in front of them and would claim he needed to “test” their equipment. Other times, he would do it without their knowledge. He even had a system and would keep tabs on the accounts of attractive women so he could watch them later.
Telesforo Aviles could face up to five years in federal prison.
