Is Usher Giving us a Versuz Battle?
There has been chatter about a possible Verzuz with Usher and Chris Brown or Ne-Yo or Trey Songz.
Ne-Yo did an amazing Versuz (personally one of my favorites) with music producer, Johnta Austin. This one was before Versuz became the big deal that it is so it was overlooked. We’ve yet to see Trigga Trey but I think Chris Brown makes the most sense for a Versuz battle. Imagine the streaming records that would be broken!
In a recent interview Usher said, “y’all ain’t ready for that.” Is that him trying to hype us up?!
He said he can appreciate everyone wanting a Verzuz with him but it’s not happening. UGH.
He is open to the possibility of something like that on stage in the future and teased fans with a “stay tuned.”
Some artists feel that they are too big to get on that stage and Usher is certainly music royalty. Let’s hope he changes his mind!
