Beyonce Vegas Residency Rumors After Cryptic Live Nation Teaser

Rumors that Beyoncé will have a residency in Las Vegas this year have been circulating for some time. With a new cryptic teaser posted by Live Nation Sunday (June 2), the BeyHive was convinced it meant she was going to Sin City.

Live Nation Vegas took to Instagram to share a cryptic teaser about an exciting announcement coming Monday. The post features a photo of a woman with long blonde hair and a cowboy hat in the shadows, which many thought was Bey. “Vegas, hold your horses…wild horses that is! Big announcement coming tomorrow!”

Fans Believe in a Beyoncé Vegas Residency After Teaser

Commenting on the teaser, fans theorized that the announcement was hinting at Beyoncé’s Vegas residency. One person said, “Beyonce – Cowboy Carter @ Sphere Residency.” Another wrote, “if this isn’t beyonce yall wrong bcs yall know what you doing…” A third said, “And y’all better not be f–n playing right now. Cuz if it’s not Beyoncé just say that. DON’T PMO.” Pleaded another, “BEYONCÉ I DONT HAVE MONEY FOR THE NEW TOUR PLEASE MAKE AN ANNOUNCEMENT IN SIX MONTHS.”

As promised, Live Nation Vegas unveiled their shadowed cowgirl Monday and it was country star Lainey Wilson. Lainey Wilson fans know that her fan club is called “Wild Horses.”

Disappointed that it wasn’t a Beyoncé residency announcement, fans commented on the post, “The Beyhive is in shambles [tear emoji].” Another fan called out the ticket sales company for the cryptic post and said, “Click bait for sure lol , well I’m glad cause I ain’t got my coins ready yet anyway lol.” Echoing that sentiment, a third wrote, “Yall are click baiters cuz wtf ahahahahaha yall TRIED IT! Ahahahaha.” Added another, “I hate yall so bad.” One fan simply stated, “yalll are rude.”

What’s Beyoncé Working On Now?

The “TEXAS HOLD ‘EM” singer, 42, has been mute about a Vegas residency, but she recently unveiled official vinyls of her latest album, Cowboy Carter. Fans shouldn’t give up hope on Bey going on tour, as The Dream hinted that a Cowboy Carter Tour was in the works back in March.

He wrote on X (formerly Twitter) at the time, “This tour bout to B’ Incredible!” The singer-songwriter and producer has worked with Bey since her 2008 album, I Am… Sasha Fierce. He has been credited as a producer on each of Beyoncé’s subsequent albums, including Cowboy Carter.

2023 gave us albums from Drake, Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, Young Thug, and more. However, there are a couple of artists who we want to see full-length projects from that haven’t had a new release in a while.

J. Cole Teases The Fall Off

J. Cole has had the best run of features in hip-hop this year by far. While he has been keeping his friends satisfied with his guest appearances, we would be doing a disservice to Cole fans if we said that they didn’t want a project from him. In 2023, he has been on songs with Drake, Nicki Minaj, Summer Walker, Burna Boy, and more.

“I’m thinkin’ about ya, I heard you just had you another lil baby/ Congratulations, I hope you got through it with no complications/ I find it amazing, the way that you juggle your kids, the biz, the fame, the bitches that’s hatin’/ They sit around waiting for you to fall off like the album I’m making,” he raps on “To Summer From Cole.”

Cole’s manager Ibrahim Hamad hinted at The Fall Off back in February. When Dreamville’s official account asked what album would fans like to see the North Carolina rapper perform in its entirety, Hamad answered The Fall Off.

The Fall Off was originally announced in 2018 on social media and is expected to be J. Cole’s last studio album before he drops the mic for good. Before The Fall Off is to be released, Cole has a lineup of projects that will eventually lead to the last album. He’s dubbed these projects “The Fall Off Era.” In that list of projects, he has already completed and released The Off-Season, which dropped in 2021. That same year, he spoke to Slam Magazine about how he came up with The Fall Off concept and retiring from rap.

“I’m never going to say, ‘Oh, this is my last album,'” Cole said at the time. “Because I never know how I’m going to feel two years, three years, four years down the line, ten years down the line, but please believe, I’m doing all this work for a reason.”
