Over the last few weeks, Pepsi dropped major hints that it was going big for its Super Bowl LII commercial. The ad, starring Steve Carell with appearances from Cardi B and Lil Jon, demonstrated the brand’s newfound ability to not take itself too seriously.

When you think of iconic characters with iconic drinks, The Dude from The Big Lebowski and Carrie Bradshaw from Sex and the City are about as solid as they come.
